Why do I love my job?

I love our business because I get to make a measurable difference in people’s lives by practicing this process and teach others how to implement in their lives. I am clear that my success is in direct proportion to the impact I am having on my clients. 

When I’m not at work, you can find me....

With my family playing games, building Lego or generally enjoy quality time. You can find me creating content with my Podcast crew. I am almost always in a seminar or personal development program. 

How does what I do impact others?

What I do impacts others by giving them hope that they can create wealth and peace of mind and empowers them to take responsibility and action in their life. We show clients a clear path to accomplishing their goals based on their actions versus plan filled with uncontrollable outcomes. 

2 favourite things about your life journey so far?

  1. Anytime I’ve gone through a difficult situation in life, no matter how dark it got. I always come out the other side, stronger. having learned valuable lessons, with more gratitude and being clearer about what I actually want in life.
  2. The more I look back at how my life has gone and where my life is headed. I realize I have the power to create my life. I am responsible for every situation in my life. I see how my thoughts, feelings and actions have contributed to every result I produce in life. And the stronger I get, the bigger impact I have on people.

What type of clients do you enjoy working with?

I enjoy working with families and individuals who are motivated and want to make a change. People who are open and coachable and will still ask questions and challenge what is being taught. I also like to work with people who take responsibility for their life and choices they make.

What do I love most about IBC?

Wow, this is a loaded question. What’s not to love. I love IBC because of how it was discovered through Nelson’s financial struggles. I love IBC because it puts the power back in the hands of the individual. I love IBC because it works and you don’t have to be rich to get started. This process isn’t reserved for a curtain type of individual or a small class of people. Although I could say so much more, I’ll say I love IBC because it is a choice to implement this process it isn’t a result of a societal norm and IBC has you evaluate and question everything you’ve been told about money. IBC fosters an environment or community that THINKS!

How did I get into IBC?

I started in as a Life Insurance advisor which wasn’t producing the impact on people I wanted to create and I knew there was something that didn’t work about the traditional financial planning model. I discovered Nelson’s book in 2012. At that time I didn’t have the courage to implement this process into my business and so I struggled. Fortunately, I developed myself and learned many tough lessons and in the fall of 2017 I decided IBC was my calling. Within a few months I was an Authorized practitioner and found a mentor. A little over a year later that same mentor introduced me to Jayson Lowe and now I am so blessed to be growing, learning and helping clients as a member of the Ascendant Financial team.
